dark color schemes-white text doesnt show up in firefox, etc

im sure there is an ez solution to this, but im an idiot, so wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction...i have installed many dark color schemes for my kde, and love them all, except when i use firefox, i cant see the info on the bottom of the browser window(like the progress bar and what page is loading type stuff) cause the text is in white and always on a light background....when i am in gmail , and various other websites, the white text is almost impossible to read against all the light bgrounds....is there a way to resolve this, or is that just the way it goes with those color schemes???

thanks..

Open firefox, click on "Edit" then click "Properties" on the left side click on "General"

Under the Home Page setting is the Fonts and Colors setting click the button and in here is where you can change the text color and other settings as well. So here's a summary

Edit
Properties
General
Fonts & Colors

yah u did...i got my gmail page configuring,...but for some reason, even tho the colors for the window frames are all dark, the part at the bottom where it says "done" or progress of the web page loading, is still a light grey color, and the white text aint showi up...
i went thru the various parts of the color theme, and theuy are all dark colors for the various window frames/handles etc...

not sure whats up?

Try changing your font colors instead. Like to red, blue, black etc....or just any dark color you like.
