Customize PartedMagic lice CD

Hi guys & gals :-)

The sad story of my life is that I often end up providing support for my friends & family on their M$-Winblows machines; especially when the OS needs a fresh install!

To make my life slightly simple, I usually make a bootable rescue DVD of their C: drive. To do this I usually use PartedMagic live CD to boot into the machine, the use Clonezilla to make an image of the drive and then make a bootable iso image.

I am no expert on linux distros; but what I noticed is that Clonezilla always downloads this file 'debian-live-for-ocs-1.2.10-14-i486.iso' for making a bootable image.
The problem is that I live in Bangladesh, and fast reliable internet connection is not yet a fact of life; as a result I often end up getting this error......

***************************
We need Debian live CD for Clonnezilla to create clonezilla cd.
Downloadling the iso file from http://free.nchc.org.tw/clonezilla-l...ve-for-ocs.iso...
Connecting to free.nchc.org.tw (211.73.64.9:80)
wget: server returned error: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Unable to download http://free.nchc.org.tw/clonezilla-l...ve-for-ocs.iso!
Program terminated!
***************************

Even when there is reliable connection, it still takes quite a while to download, as the file is around 100 MB.

So I end up booting into the machine again with Clonezilla live CD, just to make the final bootable image!!

So I was hoping that may be it will be possible to customize PartedMagic live CD so that it contains the file 'debian-live-for-ocs-1.2.10-14-i486.iso'.

So what do you think ??? is this the way to go.... or just another half baked idea :p

Thanks in advance

You can easily add in if you remaster the disk. Then you might have to change how it works to look locally for that file.
