Cursor shooting randomly to top-left corner of screen.

Hi all, I run SuSE v10.0 with KDE v3.4.2 and basically, my cursor shoots up to the top-left corner of my screen at random intervals of more than an hour. The only thing that is not completely random about it that I can tell, is that it always happens when I'm moving the cursor. I have a dell optical USB mouse.

If anybody can tell me why this is happening or how to fix it, please do.

Thanks

maybe something in your xorg.conf's mouse section isn't right, also alot of cheap usb mice tend to jump like that if you move them too fast or are using them on a bad surface
