creating partition in FC 4

Hi,

I had mandrake on my pc and know want to install RC 4.
I am having problems manually partiotioning the system.
It seems that whan I told the installtion program to automatically partition I doesnt do it write and says I dont have wnough space to install samba.
I need to do it manually but I dont know how to divide th HD I have about 200 GIGs in the hd.

Can someone please tell me how to divide it I mean how much for each partition as swap and all that.

It will be a pc as with KDE for my personal use. not a server or something alike.

Thanks very much !

Juan

OK, first of all write slowly.
You need three partitions,

/ (root partition)
/home (home partition , it is optional)
swap (swap partition, should be 2x your RAM)

You can leave the swap partition from mandrake, if you want. I would suggest 75% for the / partition , and the rest for /home.
