Question cpufreq daemon

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hi,
One doubt one using cpufreq daemon for setting cpu frequency scaling.

In kde there is power devil which takes care of power management. So is running cpufreq daemon required which sets cpu scaling frequencies min and max during boot time?
