I misread your X server command line (16:0 vs :16).
In fact your server is not running on port 6016, but on the standard 6000 one, sorry for the confusion.
well , there is no problem , but i still didn't understand why is this happening ..???
yesterday i noticed that the cpu is stuked to 100% so i typed
$kill -9 <x PID>
which restrats the Xserver and after that it work properly ..
I have Mandriva 2006 running on a laptop with an Intel video chipset. Works great. And I had a PC with an ATI card and I probably had that %100 CPU problem on it, but I changed it to a nVidia and it works great now. I have three other PCs that have an ATI card. One is running Mandriva 2006, and the two are running Mandrake 10.1. The Mandriva 2006 PC is having the 100% CPU problem. But the computer has been running for quite some time and this problem just started. No problems like this with Mandrake 10.1.
