cpio -idcmv command hanged while extracting .cpio command

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hi,

I have a file 10gr2_aix5164_database_cpio file. I tried to extract it through but it hanged.

The size of the file is 1.18GB.

Can anyone suggest me what to do?

Is there any other way to extract this file??

Thanks.

Try adding upper case B to your cpio options and see if it helps.
