could not load kdeinit
 
Slackware 10, I installed the new kde packages...then when I rebooted I can't run startx....is there a way to change dir paths and where? or what? because I think that is the problem...also I don't know where the new paths are...

Did u load kde 3.5?

First , you should login at mode 3 . Then try kdm start on console . If you can not log on KDE , please show us your error message .

it starts to load kde, then just pops back into the terminal...........no error messages.
