core dump
At the risk of sounding like a neophyte, how do I analyze the core dump from a crashed FTP session in Linux? I'm using Mandrake 8.2 on the PPC. If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.
As a brief footnote, which I know is off-topic but I'm going for it anyway, does anyone know how to do the same in that certain *other* operating system that rhymes with Windows? (Please don't hit me... )

Lindows?
Probably the same. Find a debugger program, and chances are, you can also view the file.
Cool

Oh I know, sorry I was saying yes, probably, if you can find a debugging program there as well.
