Core 5 iscsi config

Hey everyone - I am trying to get iscsi-target running and I am failing. When I run make for the iscsi target it runs fine but when I run make install I get this:

[root@hombre iscsitarget-0.4.13]# make install
`usr/ietd' -> `/usr/sbin/ietd'
`usr/ietadm' -> `/usr/sbin/ietadm'
if [ -f /etc/debian_version ]; then \
install -vD -m 755 etc/initd/initd.debian /etc/init.d/iscsi-target; \
elif [ -f /etc/redhat-release ]; then \
install -vD -m 755 etc/initd/initd.redhat /etc/init.d/iscsi-target; \
elif [ -f /etc/gentoo-release ]; then \
install -vD -m 755 etc/initd/initd.gentoo /etc/init.d/iscsi-target; \
elif [ -f /etc/slackware-version ]; then \
install -vD -m 755 etc/initd/initd /etc/rc.d/iscsi-target; \
else \
install -vD -m 755 etc/initd/initd /etc/init.d/iscsi-target; \
fi
`etc/initd/initd.redhat' -> `/etc/init.d/iscsi-target'
`kernel/iscsi_trgt.ko' -> `/lib/modules/2.6.17-1.2187_FC5/kernel/iscsi/iscsi_trgt.ko'
depmod -aq
make: depmod: Command not found
make: [install] Error 127 (ignored)

And I can not start iscsi-target. any ideas? I do have the kernel source installed for my kernel -

Linux hombre 2.6.17-1.2187_FC5 #1 Mon Sep 11 01:17:06 EDT 2006 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

[root@hombre iscsitarget-0.4.13]# cd /usr/src/
[root@hombre src]# ls
kernels redhat
[root@hombre src]# cd kernels/
[root@hombre kernels]# ls
2.6.17-1.2187_FC5-i686
[root@hombre kernels]# pwd
/usr/src/kernels
[root@hombre kernels]#

Here is what it says when I try and start it:

/etc/init.d/iscsi-target start
Starting iSCSI target service: FATAL: Module iscsi_trgt not found.
netlink fd
: Connection refused
[FAILED]
[root@hombre kernels]#

Any help would be cool and thanks in advance.
