Question Copying Linux installation to new hardware

Is it possible to work on and configure an installation of FC4 on one set of hardware, then transfer the disk into a machine with different hardware? What would I need to do?

Thanks,
Steve

1) Yes.

2) Move the drive to the new system, but be sure that the kudzu service in enabled.

I usually boot the system to runlevel 3 the first time so as to avoid any timeouts while kudzu is figuring out the hardware changes.
