copy io error on Selinux + iso mounted


Dear all,

I have a system rhel5 selinux enabled, and i mounted ISO using

Code:
#mount -o loop RHEL-5-1.iso /mnt
when i try to copy rpm i am getting erros

Code:
]# cp -rf * /data/dump/
cp: reading `Cluster/TRANS.TBL': Input/output error
cp: reading `Cluster/repodata/TRANS.TBL': Input/output error
cp: reading `Cluster/repodata/comps-rhel5-cluster.xml': Input/output error
cp: reading `Cluster/repodata/filelists.xml.gz': Input/output error

Is RHEL-5-1.iso a file? Assuming so, it looks like you have a problem with the drive or controller.
If it is on an external drive, check the cable connection as well.

i have ISO files and are working properly. i have checked these files on Windows xp.

Can you copy anything to that destination?

Can you copy any one of the files from the ISO?

Are you doinf this under RH9 or something later?
