Copy & Paste

RHL9

It seems as though I have to leave a directory and then go back to it to use the paste function, even with drag -n- drop.

Is this normal?

No, you should be able to paste just after you copy something. Maybe pressing 'refresh' button (if you're using a graphical file manager) helps?

Try highlighting the text and then paste with the middle mouse button. Nice feature. I still try this when I am in windows. oops

Well, I can't seem to get around this. And it's really getting annoying.
I've been copying files off of floppies and cd,s, (files from my windows partition), and I still have to refresh the directory to drag -n- drop or paste.

Can this be considered a bug?
