Hello ,
I want to convert an avi file to a vcd (or svcd) file .
I am working on RedHat 9 linux .
How can it be done ?
I saw on the net suggestions with
avudemux,mplayer,transcoder ; I
tried them but nothing went right;
In somecase the mplex did not worked , in some cases
the last stage (using vcdimager) did not worked out, etc.
Does anybody have an experience with such matters?
I did it only one time for fun and excitement.
Just took an mpg with the correct framesize and rate I made with avidemux and told k3b to write a vcd.
Did work playing on the computer - don't have a tv connected.
If you can do that with k3b or not depends on whats included with the rpm.k3b comes with a variety of things it can or can't do depending on other programs.
