Configuring Postfix on Mdk 8.1
 

I'm having no luck finding the FM to read, telliung how to configure postfix which is the default mail server on Mandrake 8.1. The how-to files seem to cover lots of miniscule details but leave me uninformed on how to get the server to relay messages to the outside world or even to the Win98SE boxes on my internal LAN.

Can anyone offer some words of wisdom here? I did get a set of 24 messages yesterday, but none today, and my security-check cron.daily job always sends at least two messages to "root"...
