how can i configure kmail to import yahoo mail?i am working in a lan.i dont know what a pop3 server and smtp server means.please help.
thanks in advance,
arun
Here's my guess. Log into yahoo mail and get the server name from the address bar (xxx.yahoo.com). Enter the changes in kmail setup and try it. Try both imap and pop. If that doesn't work, e-mail support at yahoo and ask if it's permitted and, if so, what the settings are. Alternately, you can search for a utility that does that for you. I think I saw one once, but I don't remember.
You have to pay for Yahoo's Premium Mail Service to use email via pop3 and smtp. If you already have the premium service then when you log into the Yahoo Mail web site there should be a support page giving the server names.
