Configuring imaps on RH 7.1

I've got imaps running on a Redhat 7.1 install. I can use the netscape client to connect to the server from the local box, but connections are refused from any other box on my network. I've created a cert. and put it in /usr/share/ssl/ as imapsd.pem, but this has not helped. I turned on imaps by setting "disable" to no in /etc/xinet.d/imaps.

Any other clues or ideas?

Thanks

Bob

I had a problem simular. The fix was just to add an ipchain for port 80.

Not too much info, but may get you started.

Thanks for the suggestion: I had already added a line in the ipchain file for port 993 (the port imaps runs on). It doesn't make a difference.

Thanks again
