compute nodes can not dedect the file but the master node can. Does someone know why?

I am using a rocks cluser, which use gfs or nfs file system. The stat function is used to check whether the file exist. I am pretty sure that I have the permission to access that file. And the master and compute node can stat other files.

It is so strage. Can someone help me with this, or provide a alternative solution that make sure every node can know that file when the file do exists?

Thank you very much.
