complicated mail retrieval / kicking - any suggestions?
Hi,
I'm trying to do the following: retrieve mail from a pop3 mailbox, and then *kick* it to another computer via smtp. The point is that the mail should be kicked, and not forwarded, ie the header should not be altered. This way, when the final recipient gets the mail, they can see the original author of the mail, and not see it as from the machine that kicked it to them. Can anyone suggest how I could do this [I have no experience with mail systems, btw :( ] Thanks a lot in advance |
run qmail, you receive the mail from the pop3 server with getmail and then deliver it wherever to whoever via qmail.
