Compiling C++ Kernel module for PPC

Hi,
I have my kernel module written in C++ for 2.6 Fedora Linux which works for x86 m/c. now I want to port the same on Power PC. I have complete tool chain for ppc from Monta vista which i am using to to compile and link.

I am trying to force my makefile ( 2.6 based makefile)
to use "g++ compiler for power pc" but some how it is always picking up g++. I tried make ARCH=ppc and make CROSS-COMPILE = ppc-82xx

but still compiler is picking of g++ compiler.

any suggestion would be highly appriciated.

Thanks
Prabhu

You're trying to cross-compile it? If so, you probably need to set CC=<path to g++ for ppc>.
