Every one would be much familiar dat a python compiler is available with Ubuntu. I found it and i just thought to learn python coz the coding is easier with python. Can someone tell me which one is better- python or java and i should learn which language?

It depends what you're doing. Java and Python are significantly different languages that are used in significantly different ways, without knowing more of your background, your goals, etc.. it would be hard to make a good recommendation for your situation.

No language is universally better than another, it may be better suited for a given task however.

Java and Javascript are pretty much completely different things. It heavily depends on what you're talking about, it's increasingly sounding like you're talking about web development is this the case?

if you want the easier to learn language, choose Python. If not, learn both. Its always no harm learning more.
