Color coding of file directories in vifm

Noticed that this color coding neither agrees with the standard Linux color coding nor midnight commander's (more than likely because of ncurses color coding and how limiting it is). It's hardly color coding anything and what it does give a color to is rather odd to me. Found vifm's coloring rules file at ~/.config/vifm/colors/Default.vifm and couldn't figure out what I could do with it to make the coloring rules equivalent to those of midnight commander or the standard Linux command line.

Have a look at these links:
https://github.com/vifm/vifm-colors
http://vifm.info/colorschemes.shtml

The mc-like colors are similar to the default mc colors and are easily modified.
