Cloning hard drives for Linux Centos and Win XP
Intro: Computer Analyst for a DoD Contractor company that supports the United States Navy, currently working towards my CCNA certification.
I need to make backup operational hard drives. Two hard drives have Linux Centos and one hard drive has Win XP OS. I would clone the 3 hard drives from my primary hard drives, will the Live CD that came with the software package give me that capability, if so what is the procedure for doing it. Thanks r/Jedhi |
You have not mentioned what software package you are trying to use to do the backup. Most apps I have come across will enable you to clone drives to an attached storage device, network share, dvd's etc. You need to add more details of the application you are trying to use for others here to be able to help you.
