Citrix Client under Mozilla
I've searched all over the forums and also the web to not much avail.
I am running Red Hat 9.0 and using Mozilla for my web browser. I have installed the Citrix Client for Linux. (ica_client630_linux.tar.gz). I install the client to the default location (/usr/lib/ICAClient), the last question is asks is 'Do you have Netscape installed?' if I choose no, it aborts installation. If I choose yes it installs the client.
Has anyone got the client working fine with Mozilla? Before and after the install I still get the option to 'Open file with...' and 'Save As'.
I would appreciate any help.
I recently got this to work myself. You need to perform two steps copy the plugin to your mozilla plugin direcoty and more that likely install a CA certficate to your system.
1. copy the file /usr/local/lib/netscape/plugins/npica.so to /usr/lib/"your version of mozilla"/plugins directory.
*** don't copy to the generic mozilla directory it will not work !!
Test the plugin installation by accessing "Help" - About Plugins it should now list Citrix ICA client .
You can now test accessing your citrix site but chances are quite great that you will get an "Trust" error message because you do not trust the CA .
Please use the Citrix Web Site to reference document - CTX955678
This will detail how to fix this problem.
Hope this helps.
Thx for the mention of the document for certificate errors. Just what i needed.
