Hello, I was more curious than anything if the dual boot solution on a Chromebook with Ubuntu would be powerful enough to compile the bit files via Xilinx ISE. I know that it needs to be an Intel based processor otherwise proceeding is not possible, but in terms of power - if it's just for school would it be strong enough with realistic expectations? My laptop just recently took a dive, so I'm just judging whether something low power with high battery longevity is better or high power with all the bulk and expense that comes with it. I might also add that this should go for any cloud based laptop such as the Windows based Lenovo 100s, HP Stream, and others.
