checking files


hi guys

doing a bit of a tutorial here

the tutorial ask to check if the file has been install by using the following command below, in my case the file is cyrus-sasl-2.1.19-3ts

Code:
rpm -q cyrus-sasl
how do i check to see if all the files are need are there.

here is the list on the tutorial

cyrus-sasl-devel-1.5.27-t22.i386.rpm

cyrus-sasl-md5-1.5.27-t22.i386.rpm
cyrus-sasl-plain-1.5.27-t22.i386.rpm
I'm trying to see if my system as all those file's

# rpm -qa | grep 'string'

Ex:
[mirandam@charon ~]$ rpm -qa | grep openssl
openssl-devel-0.9.8a-5.2
openssl-0.9.8a-5.2
openssl097a-0.9.7a-4.2.1

thank you mjmwired.

I have one file missing, cyrus-sasl-authd.

Now i have to work out how to get that file, I haven't been able to find it sofar and this is my 2nd time going over the tutorial.
