cheap modem
 

Found a cheap modem for linux. I have a usrobotics external 56k that needs to go in for warantee repair but still works. In a flyer I got in mail they had a 33k usrobotics external, new, for $19.95 so I ordered it. I am using it now. hooks up almost as fast as the 56k one, I am rural and usually get 42k or less. I can post the web address or send it to anyone who wants it. It cost 30 with shipping and handling. John Taylor

(the 56k modem lost its ability to have sound while dialing and I kind of like the anoyance.)
