Unhappy changing splash screen for mozilla


Does anybody know how to change splash screens for mozilla.?

Ofcouse in linux, man. I know that in windows just renaming and putting the screen in right path would do it. But in linux I heard that we should install again with the new splash screen. but i couldnt find any old splash screen (during installing) that is to be replaced with the "new" screen.

Personally I have never seen a splash screen in any distro I've used that included Moz.

I haven't seen any splash screens in either of the versions I have used in RH7.2...

No you have to run mozilla or netscape with --splash option. dunno whether it works with earlier version of mozilla or not.

Ya It is an in-built option in newer versions.
mozilla --splash

Found one instance /.kde/share/ thumbnails

oh, ok that works

just set the executable line in the properties dialog of the application link like this
"location of executable"/mozilla --splash
works for netscape too

Yes that was I wanted to know I dont know where is it stored at the time of installation.
