changing resolution on Slackware


Hi , how can i change monitor resolution on Slackware ? i looked a lot but couldn't find anything related to it or maybe i'm not looking right . help please

try ctrl-alt- +/- combination, if it does nothing
edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, for more info contact XFree86 howto at http://www.linuxdoc.org

yeah, in your XF86Config, you'll find under the screen section all the depth modes and their corresponding resolutions. that is where you can edit in the order you want your resolutions to load....
