Changing Passwords


Hello.

Does anyone know of a tool that a windows client can use to change their password on Linux server over the network.

The linux server is not a NIS server or anything. Just a samba, ftp, dhcp, dns etc.

Anyone know of any?

you could do it via ssh using putty

hey yeah!!

if i gave each of the clients putty, they could ssh to it and login and change it?

that would work ok wouldn't it?

Would they be able to change their smbpasswd as well logging in as a normal user?
