change time of day for one user ... I think I know that answer is not what I want

Hello

We got a load of windows boxes connected to central linux servers eporting a UTC I guess. the windows boxes are reporting BST so we've an hours discrepancy and its causing problems. The unix root people have gone for the day. Is there some way of changing the region for one linux user so the time is reported differently? e.g. fake the locale to be Europe instead of

Thanks in advance.

Kevin

Look at the tzselect script (see man tzselect), and set the value of the TZ shell variable as indicated.

Note: Suggestion only - I've never needed to do this, nor tried it.
