Change Default Manager to KDE from gnome

I recently Installed KDE on my ubuntu 5.04 system, works seemlessly except..I want to use KDE as the login manager and gnome... how do i change from Gnome to KDE?

to set up kde as the default its as easy as picking it from the sessions menu, then it should ask you if you want it to make it the default.

Well, what I meant was I want KDE to be the default display manager and not gnome. I know I can select which session to choose from. I am talking along the line of display manager so I can use KDM themes instead of gnome themes at the login screen.

try this,

sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm
and choose kdm as you default display manager.
