CentOS mirrors down?

Hey,

I was trying to update my CentOS5.5 box today and found it took a lot of time and eventually yum ended up without any mirrors left in the list. Update could not complete. The repo that was causing problems was centosplus. Anyone with similar issues?
I would not suspect internet as all the machines in the network are able to browse the internet very well. Something else?

Check your DNS settings. Those are often the culprits for me when yum updates fail.

DNS settings are fine. This is the proxy server for the network. Finally after failing a hundred times, it updated successfully.

Oh well. Another unexplained network hiccup.
