Hi,
Anyone who knows how the audio CD in my drive is compared with the CDDB database on the internet? By sending the length of the tracks or by sending some kind of serial number of CD?
I think most are by track length's. Not totally for sure on that though. But from my understanding its the tracks on the album length that mainly compares it to.
i think it has to be lengths as i've made plenty of cd's from mp3s ripped from original albums, and they still work for cddb. so there's certanily no hidden id's etc...
