hi,

this isnt linux from scratch but i think it fits in hear.

on my internet connection server i have installed IPcop this is a pretty basic firewall system very similar to smoothwall. it works and does its job, the only thing is i want it to do more like run X.org.

i have downloaded x.org and a few other programs it needs to install such as glibc, gcc make etc. then i try to install them i need make installed and make needs GCC but GCC needs CC to install. i cant find anyware to get CC from can anybody please point me in the right direction please or what i should be doing instead

thanks

Sorry, old son, LFS is a distro all on it's own. This thread is moved to Linux-General.
