Cardreader cannot recognised in Suse 10.1 Gnome desktop


I have a packard bell easynote W3420 .
I need to know how suse 10.1 with gnome desktop can recognise my cardreader when i put a sd card in it.

Well, if you place a card in and suse auto-detects the card and allows you to mount it, then you can use it.
If you stick a card in and nothing at all happens, your not going to be using it. Most notebooks use some TI-crap interface that isnt supported by linux. Get yourself a 10$ usb reader if you really need to read sd cards.
