Hi, I am helping my son who wants to record home made movies with his web cam and upload them to youtube. after searching for a day and a half for a relatively easy solution I have had no success yet. I am looking for something with a gui. Most of the programs that I read about are all capable of showing a moving picture from a web cam and they can all take snapshots in jpeg or some other still format, none seems to offer functionality for capturing video and audio. When I do seem to have found something that offers this functionality it becomes a very complicated process with long cli commands. too hard for me to understand, let alone explaining it to my son.
