Here's an odd one. I've set up a web-server with Mandrake 10.1, a basic install using Apache httpd2. Everything works fine except; I've set in to boot to a text login. If I try to log in as root I get 'incorrect login'. If I log in as the one user (andrew) it works, I can then su into root (yes, the same password as was refused firstly). Anybody got any ideas?
