Actually,the same argument worked good for RHEL4 on my PC.but I just want to know the kernel parameter that you have changed in Fedora core 5,now what should be the parameter in case of RHEL 4

Glad to know that the same argument worked as well, with regards to a successful RHEL4 installation on your PC.

The kernel parameter which I had changed has already been detailed in my previous post.

Assuming both RHEL4 and FC5 to have the same set of installation processes, I should think that the entire set of steps would work equally well with your installation of RHEL4.

Santosh the installation procedures is the same for RHEL and FC5. As far as Kernel is concerned Satadru has already posted earlier but I think u just left it, just give a look. I would be kind to u if u mention the PC configuration of yours and the details where u r facing the problem.
