Cant disable screen saver..

Whenever I click on the 'screen saver' tab under the 'configure desktop' menu the system logs me out! The screen saver works fine, but I dont want it to come up at all, hense why I'm trying to change the settings. Is there another way of disabling the screen saver?

I have 4 installs of mandriva 2007, and 3 have this problem but the 4th is fine and I cant explain it!

Thanks

Clive.

kde crash?

Hello,
the kde crash? If it is , try change the resolution or refresh rate before configure. Because i notice sometime x crash whenever you configure resolution/refresh rate if the xorg is not configured correctly for particular monitor. correct me if i'm wrong. All the best.
