cant copy file from samba's share
 
i share my wwwroot to Windows by Samba. but everytime i try to copy the files i got the error
Code:

"cant copy perrmission denied the file 'xxxxxx.php' may be in use"
first i try to delete all *.save files with
Code:

find . -name "*.save" -print -exec rm -f {} \;
but i still got the same error in some files

what should i do ?

Sounds like there may be a problem with your /etc/smb.conf file. Make sure that the workgroup is setup and that it is set to use encrypted passwords. Then, as root, go to the linux box and type

smbpasswd -a foo

where foo is the username of the person trying to access the share from the windows 2000 box. Just for safety I'd restart the windows machine.
