Cant Connect To Internet Thru Adsl
 
hi guyss im new to linux, just shifted from WINDOWS XP to linux SUSE 10.1, but things are way different here, and i have many problem like cant watch my tv, the kdetv somthing software doesnt show anything,

tell me how to get INTERVIDEO WINDVR for linux

and the main problem is i dont k now how to make a network connectiong using adsl connectin with ethernet card,

i have 10/100 mb/s ether net card but i dont find any optoing to create a connection or to dial up wehn needed,
PLZ GUIDE ME STEP BY STEP on how TO CONNECT TO INTERNET VIA ETHERNED CARD on linux SUSE 10.1

there is really nothign to do to connect via ethernet. the card should be already recognised by your pc, and it would be configured to connect to the router on DHCP. you should need to do nothing, assuming you have a conventional ADSL router. if you actually know it's not working, you need to give us a LOT more useful information, e.g. what your NIX is, what the output of "ifconfig" is, what the output of "lsmod" is...
