Cannot mount the CD in KDE environment.

Hi all! I got a problem with the KDE environment in Redhat Linux 7.1 . When i insert the Audio CD, Linux software, MP3 into my cdrom, and when i mount it, error prompt out -

Report error :
Mount : wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom, or too many mounted file systems.

But the strange thing is i got no problem with the cdrom in GNOME environment. Hope any friends can help me, thanks!

You have to mount data CD's but your not supposed to mount an audio CD as it is in a different format from a data CD

Thanks amp2000! I just wonder why before this i can mount the Audio CD into my CDrom in KDE, that should be something wrong already. Also i have try put the MP3 CD or Linux recognize software into the CDrom, it still prompt me the error. If i was not mistaken, I think the Redhat Linux 7.1 can read MP3 cd ,right? Hope can give more advices to me, thanks again!

You CANT mount an audio CD, you never did, even if you think you did. If everything is working Ok you should be able to just pop the CD in & start playing it with your cd player or whatever program your using.
If it dosent work try it as root.
If it still dosent work the problem is likely to be either your cd player program or permissions.
Good luck

try adding this line to your /etc/fstab file:

/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount fs=iso9660,dev=/dev/cdrom 0 0

there's another way to do it from the command line manually but i can't remember offhand...
