Can someone explain this syntax please?

netstat -tn --inet 2> /dev/null| grep ":80" | awk '/tcp[\ ]*[0-9]+[\ ]*[0-9]+[\ ]+[^\ ]+[\ ]*[^\ ]*/ { print $5; }' | cut -d":" -f1 | sort | uniq -c | sort -n

This was in my server's history from support staff, when I run it it produces nothing but I'm curious what the purpose of this command may be?

thanks,
