can only boot from a floppy

Ive been trying to figure out how to use one of my scsi drives to load the MBR. I dont realy want grub or lilo, because its a offsite computer.
Just want it to boot directly.
Its linux redhat 7.0
fdisk -l just gives me a return prompt.
my partitions look like:
Filesystem Mounted on

/dev/sda3 /
/dev/sda1 /boot
/dev/sdb1 /home

fstab looks like:
LABEL=/ / ext2 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext2 defaults 1 2
LABEL=/home /home ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
/dev/sda2 swap swap defaults 0 0

Are you wanting a bootloader floppy? Just go to the bootloader config. & save the bootloader to a floppy.

Hey welcome to my life
I have no idea how to get passed it, it's kinda annoying.
I'm not sure, but I have a feeling a floppy disk can only be used a limited number of times.
So I just reboot my box only when I absolutely *have* to

By the way I'm using Slackware 9.1 and am encountering the exact same problem you speak of, however, as far as I know, I actually did install LILO :x

Chu, Ive been using something called webmin www.webmin.com
Under the Hardware->Linux Bootup Configuration> there is lilo or grub options in there. Since i can't be at the machine localy. I was wondering maybe you could play with it. If you get it to work let me know and ill cross my fingers and try it also.
