Can not delete files via Nautilus, only via command line

I am running two computers with Ubuntu 7.10 and a server with FC5. All of the hard drives are ext3. When I am on one of the workstations (in Linux) and try to delete a file that is in a shared directory that I have mounted to /home/user/server I get the following error message:
Quote:
Error "Not on the same file system" while deleting "/home/tpark...print1.gif".
Would you like to continue?
Cancel Retry
When I am on a Windows machine I can delete the files fine, I can also delete them via the Linux command line, just not via Nautilus. I can also delete files that are in a shared directory that is mounted to /shared, it is just the directory mounted to /home/user/server that I am having issues with.

I am not sure what the message is telling me. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Todd

If the info here and here is correct, you're deleting a symlink to a file that isn't on the same file-system as your Trash directory. If you press shift-delete it should work.
