Can't cygstart through ssh

I'm running XP home and cygwin (good 'ol bash). Somehow I got the idea that I could use ssh like su, hoping to run programs from my normal account as admin. Logging in through ssh and doing normal linux-ey things goes fine, but not launching win32 apps. I created another normal user account, but I still can't launch win32 apps through ssh. X apps and the like are fine though.

Well, I still can't run windows apps through ssh, but I did find that right-clicking on executables lets me choose "run as" a different user, which is essentially what I wanted to do.
