can't set leading "s" in file permission

Backuppc requires a file to have the following permissions:
Code:
ls -l __CGIDIR__/BackupPC_Admin
-swxr-x--- 1 __BACKUPPCUSER__ web 82406 Jun 17 22:58 __CGIDIR__/BackupPC_Admin
I can't seem to change that leading s -- my file permissions are -rwxr-x--- for the same file.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

That's because it's not a normal attribute,
it inidcates that the file is a fifo

BackupPC documentation is wrong - still! s shoudl be elsewhere as in
-rwsr-xr-- 1 backuppc backuprestore 3998 Oct 19 09:30 BackupPC_Admin
