can't install linux on my pc?? Whay?
 

Have just bouth suse linux 10.0.
I put inn the DVD and start the install.
It start but stops after loading usb device.

Last line say:
locking for info file....

After that nothing happens.
I waited for over 2 hours.

Either you have a bad DVD (burned that way or the original ISO was corrupted). If you download it and burned it, I suggest you check the ISO with the md5sum that should be in the same directory on the server you downloaded SUSE from. If that doesn't help, try downloading a different distribution http://distrowatch.com .
BTW, SUSE isn't Linux it's a Linux distribution or distro. There are probably close to a thousand distro's.

I've had installers hang up like that. You might just give it another try---and take note if it stops in the same place.

Did you buy a boxed package incluidng the DVD? If so, you can take it back for refund and down load any of several free distros (including OpenSUSE)
