Can't copy files from an SCO Unix System V computer to a Linux computer

I can rcp between 2 seperate computers running SCO Unix and can telnet between these 2 and the one Linux computer. I can't rcp from the SCO box to the Linux box or vice versa, get error 'permission denied'. Have tried using minicom from a fourth computer using a serial connection with a modem and phone line, can telnet to all 3 computers yet can't download or upload any files. When I use minicom to upload a file from the Linux box to one of the SCO boxes and use the 'ASCII' option the file will cat to the screen. Any suggestions?

First off, this is the wrong place to post this question, but here's my response, this thread will be moved.

Check that the firewalls aren't blocking traffic. I personally use scp rather than rcp, and it works just fine. You can also try things like ftp, or sftp. Check your logs, there may be info as to why 'Permission Denied" is being sent. As for the minicom et al, are any of these boxes connected to each other through an Ethernet hookup, or is that not an option?

Cool
